There are 3 different types of memberships.<\/p>\n
COSTS PRIVATE PERSON<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n You can either transfer your membership fee every year (A), or opt for a lifetime membership (B), with a one-off payment (see below).<\/p>\n A) Annual membership fee:<\/strong><\/p>\n The price for SafeBlood membership is 50 EUR\/USD\/CHF per year per adult member, charged per calendar year. Children and young people up to the age of 18 or still in education are free of charge.<\/p>\n Exception<\/strong>: USA:<\/strong> Members of SafeBlood USA are also members of SafeBlood International and can request a donor in any country in which SafeBlood is active, but we request that USA residents sign up for membership and log in exclusively through safeblood.com<\/span><\/a>. If you would like to become a member but can’t afford it, send us an email<\/a> and apply for a free or reduced membership. We are aware that there are cases where this is necessary.<\/p>\n B) Lifelong membership:<\/strong><\/p>\n With a one-time contribution of 1,000 EURO\/USD\/CHF, you are a member for life and do not need to worry about annual payments. If you choose this option, simply transfer the corresponding amount and state “Lifetime membership” as the reason for payment.<\/p>\n Special conditions<\/strong>: We only offer individual memberships (because we have to record all your blood-related data individually), but children and young people up to 18 years pay nothing<\/strong>. A family is therefore based on the contribution of the number of adults. However, we register you both as an individual and as a family when you register. You first register yourself, and after successfully saving your data, add other family members (under “Add family members”).<\/p>\n COSTS MEDICAL SERVICE PROVIDER \/ COMPANY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Medical Partner membership costs:<\/p>\n As an introductory offer, we are currently offering a medical partner membership for the first year completely free of charge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n PROCEDURE<\/strong><\/p>\n You fill out the form (on the PC on the right – on the cell phone further down) and then become a member immediately. You will be taken to the member area, where you can use the “edit<\/strong>” field to enter the other data required (on the computer on the right, on the cell phone below). Due to the nature of our business, these are quite extensive, but we guarantee full confidentiality. We will not share your data with anyone at any time. If you do not want to or cannot fill in some of the fields, just leave them blank. After the last field press “Save entry<\/strong>“. You will then return to the top of the page and go through all the fields again briefly. Finally (only if you register as a private person, not necessary for Medical Partner), at the very bottom, upload a copy of your ID card (on the computer) or take a photo (cell phone or tablet) and paste it – “Select File<\/strong>“, then “Upload File<\/strong>“. Once again “save entry<\/strong>” and you are done. Please note that it is sufficient to upload the first page of your ID card only. Your badge will be deleted again after validation by our staff, and instead of the badge you will see the word “validated” afterwards. We strongly recommend that you do not use your cell phone to register<\/strong> for membership, but at least a tablet, preferably a computer. It is much clearer and much easier there. \n<\/em>If you are a resident of the USA, please take out a membership with SafeBlood USA on safeblood.com<\/span><\/a>, our dedicated SafeBlood USA website. The monthly fee is <\/em>$10\/mo with a $40 sign up fee upon sign up.\u00a0 <\/span>An annual renewal fee of $30 will be charged upon first anniversary, and this fee will be reduced by $10 per year until it is eliminated completely as a reward for your consistent membership.\u00a0 <\/span>(Eg. $40, 30, 20, 10, 0).\u00a0 <\/em>This includes additional services that SafeBlood can only offer in the USA.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nIf you only want to be a donor, you can receive a free membership<\/strong> as mentioned above. In this case, select “donate blood only”, fill in all required fields, and when you get to the “donor \/ recipient” field on the 2nd page, select “donor only”. After saving your entries, you are done – you just skip the payment and you are registered as a free member.<\/p>\n\n
\nClicking “back to the list<\/strong>” will take you back to “My blood donors and recepients<\/strong>“, the starting point, where you can either add family members or scroll all the way down to pay the membership fee via bank transfer or credit card.<\/p>\n
