The situation now:
Designated blood donations are usually not done without asking in hospitals in Brazil – even though there is very limited choice of donor blood. However, if you ask for it, they will allow it, or even ask you to bring in a donor, eg. a family member. It is also possible to do an autologous donation (donate your own blood for an upcoming surgery), which is much better than in most places in Europe.

Please note, as clearly stated on our home page at the bottom and below here: There is no blood bank with “unvaccinated blood”. We are working on establishing relationships with potential medical partners. The closest and first one in the world will open in Mexico soon.

We will establish partnerships with medical partners (hospitals, laboratory chains, private practices etc.), and most importantly, spread the knowledge how to reduce the need for transfusions in general with clear advises for medical staff in our members‘ living will.

Please note that there are NO blood donation stations set up yet, nowhere in Brazil, as we need medical partners for this purpose first. This will take some time.
